This school offers you the opportunity to visit one of its 4 branches:
1. Digital Business (Information Technology for Business Proposes)
2. Information Management and Information Technology
3. Quality Management, Management Apprenticeship and Personal Development and Social Skills (modern Management)
4. International Economy (Languages)
I've chosen IT, because I'm very interested in new technologies and computers.
Our timetable is very similar to other schools in Austria. We never have any assemblies or registrations, but the lessons start at 8 o’clock. Our teachers check at the beginning of each lesson, if all pupils are attendant and if anybody should be absent he gets noted into the class-register.
We usually are at school until 1 or 2 p.m. All my lessons last for 50 minutes and sometimes we also have double lessons. There is no fixed time, when we can go home, but our timetable varies a lot among the different weekdays. Sometimes we have lessons in the afternoon, and some days there are only lessons in the morning.
We always have a break of 10 minutes between each lesson and at 11 o’clock there is a break which lasts for 15 minutes. The only rule is, that after 6 lessons you must at least have one free lesson, in which you can go to the canteen, or anywhere else you want, so sometimes, there is more then only one free lesson between the lessons in the morning and those in the afternoon and so many pupils go home for those hours.
My school is very modern and so it belongs to our everyday life to use our Electronic Student ID Cards to pay at the canteen or at the coffee dispenser. We also need them to lock the door to our classrooms.
As I told you, I'm in the IT-branch so my classroom is equipped with special desks with 2 receptacles and 2 LAN-Slots for each desk. So we can connect to the school network every time and in any lesson.
